I’m Rawles and this is a place for me to post whatever writing I’ve been poking at in my free time. I write fiction spanning and busting various genres, but usually leaning towards science fiction and fantasy, and I also write critical essays deconstructing and discussing issues of social justice, oppression, and diversity in all sorts of fictional media, from comic books and video games to film and novels. From time to time, some discussion of writing as a craft, and everything involved therein, might pop up.

That said, “aristeia” is a narratological term referring to a hero’s finest moments or greatest triumphs, and I do hope to bring you a fine triumph here or there.
